I am missing my first South African nationals ever this weekend, which is really sad since I have played in every Nationals we have ever had down here. Poker money > Boosters I suppose. Looks like I am picking it up as a side game again since some of my friends are keen on playing Magic again post-WOW.

South African nationals is like 8 people and a rhino....and usually the rhino misses T8 on tiebreakers.

There has never been a rhino at SA Nationals, but it was annoying when the giraffe could see all the cards you drafted.

I haven't played Magic since '97 or '98. It just got me to sign up for Magic Online.

The first thing I told my friend Ray when I got to the WSOP was that it almost looked like a MTG pro tour with all the familiar faces tha were there.
