I tried out for the xcountry team, but I wasn't quite there yet. I really think if I kept running throughout college, I would have eventually made it. I was down to a 10:17 1600 and a 17:10 5K the summer before my freshman year, and I had only started running the spring of my junior year.

Thats awesome... How old are you? I had assumed you were the same age as me (21) but the way you are talking it sounds like you are 24 or so.
