If Poker is the poker ("the one who is poking") then I am the Pokey ("pokee", as in, "the one being poked").

Meh.

I was expected a more x-rated story.

The long story of my name, strictly because I'm bored:

When I was in high school, there was this burrito shack that I used to eat at all the time where all the employees spoke very little english. But for some reason, they still insisted on calling out your name when they finished your order--even though they couldn't pronounce english names.

So, to be cruel, I would write long complex made-up names on my orders and wait until they called me at least three or four times before actually picking up my order. You know, just to watch them wrestle with it.

One time, the name i put down was "voboigel", and the clerk spent a good thirty seconds going "vabogee? vabogee? vabogee?" before I stepped up to get my food. And that sorta stuck in my head for some reason.

That's where I got my name

Lol, this is hilarious, but I'd guess you've now eaten more loogies from that one place than I have in my entire life.

My nick name in college was jdog and 1999 is how I like to party (you know Prince). I've been using this since 91 when I had and AOL account.

My brother and I had a night out with a few buddies. After a good amount of beers we started - for no obvious reason - to add "kazana" to just about evry second word.
Somehow this did stick, and we adopted this as an addition to our counter-strike names. Since that time my brother was KAZANAbunny and I was KAZANAchicken.

I got bored of CS shortly after and quit playing. When I went for my final years to the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, there was quite a bit of CS going on. I dusted off my skills and got that old name out again. After a short while most people knew me only by the name kazana.

Io sono Italiano, capesh?

Then again maybe "Chicken" is Scottish.

You know, Chicken. As in Noodle, Broth, Stars, and Cream of? At home I have a sweet Scottish blanket from the Chicken clan.
