I presume Top Gun doesn't count because the music isn't original for the movie? On that basis I really like the John Williams movies and also Silverado, which I think had a terrific score.

BTW, Goblin's soundtrack for Argento's Suspiria. Also comes as a CD with the 3 disc edition of the film.

Anything that Vangelis ever did for a movie should be up there. It's too bad that I can't count Cosmos as a film. John Williams has had some good work, and my only other favorites aside from those 2 artists were from Dragon, and the LOTR movies.

hope these haven't been hit on yet.
Braveheart. Ciderhouse Blues. 8 Mile. All of the above deserves some mention. |

Throw this one into the ring......
The soundtrack from "The Milagro Beanfield War". If you've never caught this flick.....Do so as it's quite enjoyable. Dave Grusins score is quite haunting. |

I;m a big fan of te Era, so this is Skewed, but "Singles" soundtrack is awesome. A great Pumpkins song from before they were famous, Mother Love Bone, and two of Pearl Jam's best non-album songs, even some Hendrix. The Paul Westerburg and Heart ( as the Lovemongers) songs didn't really fit, but all in all, a great album
