Re: post a fundamental rule of poker
1. Everytime someone caps the turn with a draw vs. your set, you lose.
2. Everytime you bet your AK on the turn heads up, on a ragged board and get called, the river will be an 8 and you will lose to Q8 (note: The 8 and Q8 in this scenario can be substitued with other awesome hands calling you down because "you don't have any of that, and eventho I can't even beat a bluff, you don't have any of that") |

Re: post a fundamental rule of poker
When you flop the underfull you will always be against at least one overpair and/or trips. As long as all the money goes in on the flop the turn will put three of a kind on board. If instead all the money goes in on the turn the overpair will river an overfull.
If you flop middle or bottom set there is a 50% chance you are against top set. However, if you flop any set on a board with three consecutive cards (567, 9tj etc.) there is a 95% chance someone has flopped a straight. If you are on the highside of a set over set situation there is a 33% chance your opponent will quad up on the turn or river, unless someone else has also flopped a straight or flush, in which case the board will never pair. |
