first 3 shirts look good, but yeah, the text is horrifically cliche and gay. the 4th shirt and crow shirts are both awesome imo and the softball shirt or whatever looks nice to wear while i sit around and watch football with my friends or something, but i really wouldnt go out to clubs in it or something.

quids,

Sick part is I checked out all the shirts at Bloomingdales and the only long sleeve t-shirts I liked were by John Varvatos and cost f'ing $150.

His [censored] is really nice.

I just got this:

pima hoody

I want to buy a few of his tshirts but since I am not playing poker anymore I'm having a difficult time rationalizing spending $100 on a TSHIRT.

PITTM,

Not sure how I feel about the fact that we apparently share the same taste in clothing.

Diablo,

I can't say I really like any of the three shirts in the OP. I like the raggedy sleeves, but the designs are too "busy". Not very classy. Especially the slogans speak to the kind of half-intellectual half-spiritual "postmodern" hipster type that I want to avoid like the plague. However, a lot of chicks do dig them.

I love the shirt with the bird graphic and would wear one myself. I feel that I could grab that shirt out of my closet two years from now, and it would still be stylish.

The last shirt you posted is kind of meh. I think it's the kind of shirt that's useful to have in your wardrobe, but I would never wear it if I was going out somewhere. It's more of a lazy-saturday-with-the-guys kind of shirt.

For comparison, this is currently one of my favorite shirts. I'd model it, but I couldn't manage to take a good picture while wearing it.

Sometimes I just don't get the graphics. Like the bird graphic shirt, I've seen that in the stores but I just don't get it. It doesn't really do anything for me. What about it do you like?

Have you checked out the shirts made by mark gordon and generra (pants too). They make some real nice stuff.

Also, James Perse has very simple ts and long sleeves that I like, I just got another v neck hoody, it's expensive for what you get, like $40/tshirt+ and there are no designs, just colors, but i like the way they are cut and absolutely love the softness of the material, so I keep buying.

I cant believe you spent 70$ on a tshirt that isnt all that remarkable.

[/ QUOTE ]

welcome to the world of high-end fashion.. 70$ is just the beggining

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah, see, thats the problem, I consider a shirt like this "high-end fashion for people who dont know high end fashion".

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, just stating a fact. Sure you can find some bargains but in most cases trendy clothes cost a nice amount of money.

Al,

Yes, my experience so far has been chicks really dig these shirts, the gayer the better. I'm starting to think the best way to get laid by hot chicks might be to walk around with a dick in my mouth.

[/ QUOTE ]

ahahaha - KBZ has also told me that in Boston, he basically comes off like a rock-star wearing these type shirts

[/ QUOTE ]

ah I missed this part. phew. yes it's true I think this looks better in non NYC/LA/SF cities.

it's a combo of cool design + novelty of looking different than the average guy. subtle form of peacocking
