Jefferson ... has to stop traveling so much

[/ QUOTE ]

I think I sympathize with Tommy on this one. His face up move that he keeps getting called on is NOT travelling. He's dropping the ball to the floor before picking up his pivot foot. He's been getting hosed. I just think the refs forget what good post moves look like.

I agree with everything you two said about the 4th quarter. Kidd abusing Telfair and lighting up the C's w/ Rondo sitting on the bench was beyond me.

As far as this goes-

[ QUOTE ]
Why can't we get a decent point guard?

[/ QUOTE ]

I find it pretty interesting b/c just the other day I was thinking that the C's finally had that explosive point gaurd that can create his own shot, weave in and out of the lane, find the open guy, make great passes, score, etc. And I think Telfair will eventually be that guy. But, of course, he comes at the price of not being able to play D. I feel that against the great opposing PGs, Rondo should be out there to stick with them. Guys like Kidd, Paul, Davis, etc.

*random semi-off-topic thought: another thing I noticed is that I don't have anywhere near as high of an opinion on Gerald Green as the rest of the members of this board. Other than raw athleticism, I don't really see much that I like about his game. But, to be fair, I haven't seen him play all that much. Somebody fill me in on what I'm missing.

raw athleticism + being able to shoot is pretty much what we need for someone playing across paul imo. paul/green would be able to play pretty decent defense just because of their athletic ability and would be hell to defend against, especially if there is any sort of inside presence (which jefferson does bring).

Nice. Down 22-2 with two minutes left in the first quarter.

Why would adding AI really help this mess again?

Nice little comeback, but my general disgust with this team remains right now. Please get rid of Doc.

Big Al is tearing it up right now.

I have no idea why Telfair has gotten so much playing time tonight. He's playing terribly.

Mark Jackson is singing the praise of Al Jefferson right now. "He's a scientist!"

I really can't get enough of this Jackson / Albert booth. It's so awesome.

Also, I wouldn't mind if Tony Allen never sees another minute the rest of the season. He's so bad. It's painful to watch.

We're also doing terrible on the defensive glass tonight.

Haha, I'm not a big basketball fan by any stretch, but listening to these two as well as Walt Frazier with the Knicks is a treat. They are almost never cliched - and as a result, more interesting than 99% of the guys who commentate.
