suzzer,

"The science behind the stealth turd has been explained."

Has it though? I mean, the "blocked from vortex power by other turds in front" thing at first seems very solid.

But then, it gets me to thinking.

Why is it so often just ONE TURD? Shouldn't there often be multiple turds impacted in this manner? Yet it seems like so often it is just ONE PIECE, regardless of the size of the dump.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's because the last turd does the old helicopter at the top of the cyclone. If there is more than one, they collide, forcing one to go vertical, and get sucked down.

Also, one must differentiate between the floating turd and the heavier, denser turd that sinks. Usually, the denser turds have been compressed by the other turds behind it, the gases are then pushed out of them and emanate from one's anus as flatulence; the now-gasless turd is denser than water and sinks. The floater-turds usually are at the end of the line and closest to the intestine and remain uncompressed and maintain its methane content and are thus less dense and float.

Given this, you'll often find that if you make a poo consisting of all floaters, there will be a significantly larger proportion of turds left behind. Actually, those who eat lots of leafy green vegetables will be familiar with the salad poo, consisting of all green (well, dark green now) undigestible vegetable matter. These leave a rim of residue on the edge of the water (after the initial flush) and usually require three or four flushes (including the initial flush) to completely eradicate from the bowl.

NT,

I was just hoping the science nits would focus their efforts here instead of arguing about the wording of 8th grade science quiz questions.

That's because it's lost its innocence, and now it's wary.

It would seem we are in some post-modern age of turd thinking--where the empirical, the spiritual and the metaphysical are all woven together in a rich, complex tapestry of enlightenment.

Probably one of the worst threads started by a mod ever... EVER.

I am currently taking a dump. I'll let everyone know how many flushes were needed.

Just 1, pretty solid, but not too much mass.
