You're probably right. Anyway, the only thing I was interested in was the poll result and already now I can see that most poker players don't belive in god. It interests me because I am reading a thesis that claims that even if you come from a background with strong beliefs, the professional direction your life takes often helps you change those beliefs. This is a thesis that disputes another one stating the opposite.

[/ QUOTE ] guids, prove to me Thor or the flying spaghetti monster doesnt exist [/ QUOTE ] thor and the fsm are actual things, ie, thier is a specific idea and description of what they are, they are not real. god, imo, isnt anything specific, god imo, can be anything that is a plane above us, there is no specific description of it/him/her, you cant peg "god" down to be able to prove or disprove, whereas your lameass arguments you can disprove thier existence. ps. my whole thinking is like this, a lot of people, A LOT, since the begining of written history, have believe in something larger than ourselves, it just seems odd to me (and all you cynical dbags are going to say "humans are in general stupid" etc, but I guess i dont really believe we are as stupid and evil as you guys say), that there are so many people that have this passion about something.
