Default Re: is this what poker is coming to?

I tried the table, too, and it was fun. Things would slow down sometimes when someone wouldn't know what buttons to press, but it only takes one or two hands to figure out what to do.

While I'm sure it won't catch on everywhere, it's definitely a cool and useful product.

By the way, someone I was with was saying how he wouldn't play on one of these tables because it would be too easy for the casino to rig it for action flops (strange, because he's an avid online player who scoffs at the conspiracy theorists). One of the PokerTek reps was one of the IT guys and he said that the casinos will not have any access at all to the poker software/RNG, etc. The only fiddling they will be able to do is with tournament structures and things a casino would normally manage.
