Good luck to you, update this thread if you are able to make a sick run. Some advice in your quest, don't play at my tables.

Neo,

When I set up this account my Multi screename, I still used Empire and Party sn's as well, was IHateCats99, any 2+2 who played the Party 10/20 from when it opened through last October likely knew me and probably realized I was a solid longterm winning player. Having the public screen name frankly resulted it a lot more hassles than it was worth in terms of credibility on this board so I'm not going down that road again.

That said, I'm pretty much settled on 6-8 tabling 5-10 for a week and see if I can get back over 50k in the bankroll which is my goal for returning to 10/20, if my cards remain cold and I continue to drop I'll give 3/6 a shot.

As whitelime mentioned earlier, why the hell would you take this position? Just deposit more and play your most profitable game. IT's not like you become less of a player when you deposit money.

If he had to withdraw money for something, wouldn't it be reasonable to assume he doesn't have enough money laying around to replenish his BR?

It's partly that as I've started building a house, bought 2 cars & a time share in the last 3 weeks so I'm not at my most liquid at the momeent but it's also a lifestyle choice, I simply don't want to establish the precedent of inputing assets into poker other than time as the people around me will go into spasms of worry if I start doing this at the levels required for 10/20+ stakes.

"Kid"? What about the word retirement in my original post equates to kid in your mind? When I say retirement, I mean just that, not I quit my day job to play poker full time fresh out of college.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the term 'case money'? How is this different than bankroll?

Case money means it can't be replenished. Bankroll should mean the same thing but people often use it to mean replenishable money which has been set aside for poker.

Am I an idiot for thinking "case money" was something Mike McD was saving up for that was law-school related?

Nevermind, I'll answer that myself.

I think you will do just fine, most likely make all the $ you need in 1 week if you put in the requisite hours.

5/10 is the correct choice. Good luck.

BTW, how am I the first person to tell you to sit at 200/400 against bad_ip? that is the obvious answer. You're a short stack specialist!!

And we all watched fast freddy turn 23K into 400K+ in an hour or two!
