[ QUOTE ]
I had front row seats for the Pedro - Drays game in 2000.
Pedro pegged Gerald Williams with his first pitch of the game and a brawl ensued. After that at bat Pedro was absolutely sick. He was perfect after that until the 9th when he let up a bloop single and ended up with just the 1 hitter.

I <3 Pedro.

[/ QUOTE ]

As I recall this no-hitter was broken up by John Flaherty. The D-Rays fans booed, lol

A subtle, but necessary, FYP.

Ironically, Pedro and Manny are my favorite baseball players. Though I did like them both before they went to Boston.

I can't think of any players on Atlanta I like. The only guy I liked on the Yankees was Lidle

re: johnson/anderson

thats bizarre, for some reason I've always remembered that game as Mulder>Johnson. I wonder why? anyway, yeah, Mulder was insane that game.

as for Oak picking up Mulder again, I can't wait. He'll get Frank Thomas 2006 money and he'll look great at the back of the rotation behind Haren setting up for Calero

Personal fave, Tom Browning's perfect game. 72 of his 102 pitches for strikes and didn't run the count to three balls on a single batter. I loved Tom Browning.

Randy Johnson's perfecto in 2004 was pretty fantastic. He killed a good hitting Braves team. That to me is more impressive than striking out 20. Allowing no one to reach base is a sign of utter dominance. (he also struck out 13)

[/ QUOTE ]

Koufax got 14 in his.

If you are a true Yankee fan, you don't really dislike the Red Sox. Most fans only hate teams better than their's
