Re: Imus returns to Radio and TV - So overdue..
Katy, I agree with you on Harold Ford, Jr. I'm a republican and I was pulling for him. He seems like the real deal. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of him.

Re: Imus returns to Radio and TV - So overdue..
I listened to Imus regularly for years. To each his or her own I suppose. I personally find Stern intolerably boring; how many lesbian jokes can a person listen to?
Imus would discuss books, politics, a wide range of topics in between rants about being annoyed by some 'fat loser'. Anyone running for national office had to be a guest on the show. An acquired taste, as it's been said. How Stern can keep legions of fans for as long as he has mystifies me. C'est la vie. |

Re: Imus returns to Radio and TV - So overdue..
imus didnt get fired for his comments about the basketball team. He got suspended for them, and probably would have gone back on the air
Imus got fired for his apology on SHarpton show when they took calls and the callers were all yelling at him and he said, "See, i can never please you people" |
