I don't want to bring you down, but have you thought about the huge tax bill you're going to be getting? Personally, that would concern me more than the 60K you probably won't be getting back. Best of luck. Sincerely.

Reading this story makes me somewhat more glad that I'm a life nit, and that I am also a staking luckbox.
Now I just need to stop sucking at poker myself and luckbox my way into a big live score.

Could the money used for backing, etc. (all the money except that spent partying) be largely cancelled, as you're focusing on net income? And I would think that the charity money would provide a substantial writeoff.

[/ QUOTE ] Since most of his losses are either with poker itself or with staking it won't affect him that negatively, only the money spent on strippers and blow will, but even those can be "live losses" or can be written off depending.
