Re: Pitt/Navy Tonight
[ QUOTE ]
ugh...Navy had to punt due to the holding (which was a good call on #67...I slo-mo'd it on DVR) think Johnson screwed up by calling a pass. Should've just ran it twice and see if Pitt could stop it. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah Pitt's D has the advantage on the pass plays that Navy might not be able to throw/catch. That's pretty much their only chance. They do have a helluva freshman RB though. |

Re: Pitt/Navy Tonight
Some of the worst KO coverage I've ever seen in this game.

Re: Pitt/Navy Tonight
Yeah, that was terrible play-calling down the stretch there. If you're planning on going for it on 4th down, you have to try to run the ball on 3rd there.
Worked out for me though as I was doing the live betting and switched from Pitt to Navy after the 1st OT when +130 was available, then added $1 (max available) at +3000 during Pitt's last drive. Live betting is fun. |

Re: Pitt/Navy Tonight
[ QUOTE ]
next time just bet a unit on Navy ML [/ QUOTE ] why do you say that? I am very curious as I'm kind of a babe in the woods here. I saw an edge on both the spread and ML, but they were very correlated and I didn't want to bet more than a unit total, so I just split it evenly. Is there some Kelly maximization formula for 2 bets that are so strongly correlated that each bet individually has an edge? |
