Re: Why do the Live Players......
[ QUOTE ]
One time I was playing a late night 9/18 game at bellagio where some lady had her 7-10 year old kid sitting next to her... the lady was dumping chips like the titanic. The kid kept saying "mommy i'm tired" and she kept telling the kid to quiet down that mommy was going to win some money... I think eventually the floor asked her to leave. [/ QUOTE ] What kind of BS is this? Bellagio doesn't spread 9/18 and there is no way that a 7-10 year old would be allowed to sit next to his mother in the poker room. |

Like no one ever exaggerates on a 2+2 forum. Right.

Re: Why do the Live Players......
I don't think 9/18 is spread anywhere in Vegas at all, nor do I believe that there is an age exception for children of degenerates.
But hey, I read it on God Against Gamblers.com so it must be true. |

Re: Why do the Live Players......
9/18 used to be spread at Venetian (with $3 chips), but it was killed off when they went to 4/8 (in favor of 8/16 instead). Bellagio has never spread it.

Re: Why do the Live Players......
Glad that others voiced that no way would they let a 10-year-old sit there.
I only have limited experience at Bellagio but can't imagine this would be allowed. |

Re: Why do the Live Players......
[ QUOTE ]
I'm an exclusively live player myself and I've never heard anyone complain about making too much $$$. In fact, we love when you online experts come to town to teach us how to play poker . [/ QUOTE ] LOL. I love this. When I see the dumbo with an IPOD, refusing to talk to any one (turning off the chat-box). I mean, really, they constantly make bad calls, and bad raises. I know if they are so used to playing better opposition? I always said and always will maintain, that most of the OL players that come into a B&M don't have the patience, demeaner, discipline, or overall talent to play B&M. They simply do not adjust their strategy for the larger rake. IMO, a good player should be able to do well, no matter the competition, or the structure. Some things I have seen on the few times I played OL Four players limp. daveT raises, EVERYONE?????? folds. The worst players in the casino don't even do this. Power jamming with bottom pair. They come to the B&M, thinking that their pair of eights are good, even with an Ace on the board. Whatever. There are bad players everywhere, they are just bad in a different way. If we all suck so bad, why aren't all of the OL pros coming out for the easy pickings? Think of it, you would be able to play way higher with a smaller bank-roll. |
