Re: Main Event; He\'s going Jamie Gold on me?
Im more interested on why everyone thought this was such an easy call. You still have $50,000 in chips and its not like this guy gets out of line a lot. Everytime someone shows strength people commenting on here people just look for any possible combo draw. Do we really think this guy wants to stack off with AJ here? Please discuss.

Re: Main Event; He\'s going Jamie Gold on me?
just to add, though QQ/AJ might be possible, the way people play in this tournament if they are faced with a decision like him with one pair they think it over. this is a huge pot at this point (if i call its almost 2x as big as the biggest pot at this table the entire day.)
i really felt his insta move in eliminated the % of time this is a weaker made hand like QQ. it's sort of a feel thing and being at the table to know this. i'm not really sure if he thought i'm FOS preflop or anything. it's possible given i have the button, have a stack, and have shown i will play back at him. he knows that i know he's been opening alot. also, given it's almost day 2, he may think i might not want to put my tournament life on the line here and may have called many hands preflop to c/r all in any piece. this is a maybe, though, and tough to really say given how different these players of styles are in this tournament. |
