Re: Yet another Floor Decision question (the magic muck)
[ QUOTE ]
The very next hand ... you wouldn't believe it ... the exact same thing happens! [/ QUOTE ] Dispense KsITN as follows: - All three players for doing the same dumb things two hands in a row - The dealer, for twice failing to say (to the all-in at showdown) "One moment please, sir, side pot first" - The floor, for not pointing out after the first time around that side pots show down first. The floor's is a gentle one, though, for applying the same bad house rule the same way in both cases. Otherwise, though, you're putting out a hypothetical non-issue. The floor shouldn't prevent the two from splitting the side pot, but can't require them to split it, either. C is SOL. (Normally we might suppose he learns a lesson for next time, but these players clearly won't be learning anything.) |

Re: Yet another Floor Decision question (the magic muck)
[ QUOTE ]
1. If you were Charlie, what would you say (or do) next? [/ QUOTE ] I'd stop being an idiot. [ QUOTE ] 2. If you were the floorman, how would you justify what was going on? [/ QUOTE ] I'd say that we have a magic muck, a precedent was set with the exact same players only a few minutes before, nobody should be surprised at anything. The chop was a player-induced agreement, not house-enforced. |

Re: Yet another Floor Decision question (the magic muck)

Question 2: If you're the floor, and the players agree to a deal that overrides your decision, do you let them? [/ QUOTE ] how can they really prevent it?, sorry sir you can't give that gut 10 dollars? |
