these are pretty good answers. I think "surfing" and "skiing" are weird answers unless you grew up in Santa Monica or Stowe, VT.

I knew a girl (otherwise smart, very educated) who never learned Roman numerals b/c she was sick when they taught it.

like OP, I can't ride a bike without holding the handlebars.

I want everyone who said they can't ride their bike no-handed to go out there and do it.

We used to have contests as kids to see who could go the longest. There was a loop in my neighborhood that was exactly 1 mile. We would go miles without touching the handlecars.

I wish I could roll my 'r's. I too sound brain damaged. And I would like to learn to whistle loud with my fingers. Learning to draw better would be nice to - stick figures don't cut it.

I never learned how to tie my shoes the way that most people do ( http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/standardknot.htm ). I mean, I know how to do it, but I've never used it enough to get really quick at it. I've always used the bunny ear method ( http://www.fieggen.com/shoelace/twoloopknot.htm ).

[/ QUOTE ]

I never learned to tie my shoes either. I make a knot, I make a loop, I make a knot with the loop and the extra end, I make a loop with what's left of the extra end and make a knot with the other loop. Then I make another knot.
