Borgata comps are inferior. They give 2 comp dollars/hr. Unless you have a black label card they charge 2 comp dollars for every dollar purchased. Taj gives $3/hr at 20/40 stud and 4$/hr plus a free weeknight room for 4 hrs 40/80 stud play. Taj comp points are good dollar for dollar. Cell phones work at Borgata poker room. Iffy at taj.

This depends on what you spend it on. You get dollar for dollar on one of the main restaurants as opposed to the cafeteria places. The retail stores are 2 for 1, but it's 1 for 1 for room charges or vacation certificates that can be used at places like Bellagio, Venetian, and MGM Grand. This is no different whether you are black label or red label. If you are black label, you get a better rate at the buffet among the other benefits.

When I had a casino floor based black label card all purchases at retail stores were 1 comp dollar = 1 dollar. I also was informed that the poker black label card at Borgata does not entitle you to many of the things the casino floor black label card does. Free rooms would be one thing.

ok ok so maybe the trop is slipppin a lil bit.....lol

As for the hilton i love playing there I havent been there since mid-june but the the 2/5 NL game is great. Usually right by the nice big window with a great view, full of older regs with 1 or 2 seats that kinda rotate the newbies. Great game and I highly recommend trying it out, only problem is when its running they usually only have one table and there is usually a short wait.

Also the floor people at the hilton are A+ in my opinon as far as customer service. And the off season poker room rate is a whoping $35 bucks. Cant beat that!

Generally, how high can someone play in AC if they have a good grasp of the strategies in SSHE? is 5/10 within reach on a weekend night?

Does Hilton spread 2/4 limit HE? I was planning to play 2/4 limit at the Trop but the Hilton sounds like the place to be, especially if I can get a cheap room.

Yes, Hilton spreads 2/4 LHE.
Is there a poker room in AC that doesn't?

Yes, you can get a poker rate at the Hilton during the summer. I was just in the poker room 2 weeks ago and TK was hooking a couple of players up. Of course, poker room rate is only available if there are rooms available. Right now, that is only during the week, and that is tough sometimes being summer.
