Linkin Park new single and new style

only been through it once and although im not ready to abandon ship quite yet, and there were some songs that stuck out....

im so far really disappointed. they need to put their vaginas away, realize they'll never be great political rockers, use their solo/fort minor projects to try new things, and just put out a [censored] kick ass linkin park cd.

I went to the Linkin Park One Night Only Movie thing that showed in random United Artist theaters, where they went more detailed into the new album(realllyyy detailed).

They specifically stated in the movie that they had "completely exhausted" the old sound and had to move on. Whatever.

The thing that pissed me off afterward, is that they played a show in NY and recorded it for the second half of the movie. They played 3 new tracks. What I've done, No More Sorrow, and #2 or #3 whichever is the only other rock song on the album. Basically, they made all the people in the audience think the entire album was going to be much harder than it really was. I don't know why it pissed me off, but it did.

On another note, maybe that's a sign of what they're going to do with their live performances. Half of the songs on this album would suck ass live, when played in conjunction with all the old classics they play..so maybe we won't see many new tracks being played. *shrug*.

There is nothing original or interesting about them. They are just a cliche-driven product for teenagers, derivative of a bunch of bands that came before them that also sucked.

I'm tilted at Apple because I pre-ordered the album via the "Linkin Park TV" subscription (20 bucks for like 15 10 minute videos and the album). Unfortunately, they've had some sort of technical glitch and they haven't delivered the pre-ordered album to this particular pre-order.

And yes, I've checked all of the available downloads -- this is a problem that's being discussed on the Apple Discussion forum by a number of people.

So I don't have the album yet. I would just pay for it again and just download it, but somehow it seems wrong to me. Despite throwing away tons of money in other ways, I just can't spend another 12 bucks on it. I'm pretty tempted to just download it illegally since I did technically pay for it.

Deny. I've heard stuff like this, but it doesn't pan out if you look into how they came up.

PS- Why the [censored] is he singing on this new CD? I don't even know what to think if they play these songs in concert, I might fall asleep. I like Linkin Park for gym music, this is like falling asleep music on some songs.

If this were true, you would think they would have picked some better looking band members. Other than Mike, all of LP are pretty weird looking dudes, especially Chester. Which obviously would make no sense.
