I can't imagine doing anything aside from calling the minraise preflop.

I can't believe there are people questioning preflop.

3betting preflop is going to get rid of alot of the ace 4 type hands that we want in, especially if theyre terrible and will pay off 2 streets on an ace high flop, plus i think inflating the pot at this point oop against people who are call machines postflop with a marginal hand is just dumb.

Jay,

I think you played the perfectly, with the possible exception of betting more on the river.

I would probably donk the flop a substantial portion of the time something like 50% of the time.

I don't like a 3 bet preflop at all, since being OOP with A9off against a station is pretty much the worst scenario possible.

It doesn't matter if he won or lost.

not for the sake of discussion, but i'm curious. after i read through a thread and try to figure out what goes on in villains mind, i wonder what hand he played like this.

jay seems to be a bit thin-skinned if he feels insulted by that question in any way, i guess.

I'm not insulted atall by this. Its just usually when someone posts this they are just saying snidely 'this is obviously standard, stop being soo results orientated.'

Sorry if you were just curious about results, I will post after more discussion.

i see.
it really wasn't meant as a "don't be results oriented"-post.
