He's not saying it detracts from his greatness, merely that is kinda irrelevant and forced for Rowling to reveal it now. Which I agree with in a way. I always assumed both were pretty a-sexual, but it doesn't really matter what they are since it has no relevance particularly to the story.

Well maybe not totally irrelevant, I should take that back. Just seems a kinda gimmicky thing to reveal out of the blue, especially something so minor in the story which is going to be blown way out of proportion by the media/certain fans.
