I am pretty much as OP described. I've been to casinos 20 or so times and have never once spent a single penny on any sort of gambling other than poker, despite friends urging me to play the slot machines.

sorry but I think I just ran across a real degen moment. My roommate and I are making bets while watching GAS (nickelodeon game show network). He gave me 6 to 1 on the last remaining team of Ledgends of the Hidden Temple. I picked Blue Barracudas and won. We have been making random $1 on GAS for over 3 hours now. Im getting another beer.

This is why i hated internet poker for the longest time. When i first started I used to grind one table at a time for a couple months when not playing live. Eventually I would build up a decent BR and then come home completely wasted and wake up the next day a few bucks below my original buy-in... which i would then tilt off playing for my full BR trying to get my money back. If only they would invent a breathalyzer for starting your computer....

The worst thing for me is that i sit down in 5000nl with a 6000$ bankroll, and flop the nutstraight and win a 10k pot in 5 minutes (drunk birtday night 10/09/06) since then i have: Played 5000nl with a 20k bankroll drunk...busto. Played 5000nl with a 12K bankroll drunk.....busto. Played 5000nl with an 8k bankroll drunk....busto!!!!! For what its worth ive never depoisted more thank 500 at a time, but that just makes me sicker at myself.
