Re: Colts Pumping Artificial Noise into The Dome
[ QUOTE ]
Actually maybe I am ignorant. Is this against the rules? If not it definitely should be. [/ QUOTE ] I'm sure it is. My point is all this proves is that any and every NFL team will do whatever they can to gain a competitive edge, as long as they think they can get away with it. It's not like the Colts are any worse than any other team. |

Re: Colts Pumping Artificial Noise into The Dome
i heard this and couldn't tell if it was an audio problem or something that actually happened. there were a couple of other spots where the visuals got delayed or skipped during the game as well, so i wasn't really sure.

Re: Colts Pumping Artificial Noise into The Dome
Everyone saying "is it cheating?"
Link [ QUOTE ] Perched like a meringue pie in the middle of downtown Indianapolis, the RCA Dome is one of the loudest stadiums in the N.F.L. After the Steelers lost, 26-7, to the Colts here on Nov. 28, one Steelers official complained to The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the Colts had amplified the fans' roar. The N.F.L. found no evidence to support that, although Commissioner Paul Tagliabue recently issued a memo saying teams could lose draft picks if they enhance stadium noise. [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Colts Pumping Artificial Noise into The Dome
I like the Colts pretty well, but I hope they lose draft picks if this is true.

[/ QUOTE ] its funny because it happened right after the announcers were complimenting the fans for being so nice and loud and knowing when to cheer and when to be quiet. he was right, they are pretty good....... Re: Colts Pumping Artificial Noise into The Dome
For the record, if the Broncos did something like this I would think they should be punished equally.
This type of stuff ruins the integrity of the game. |

Re: Colts Pumping Artificial Noise into The Dome
watching it over again, what makes me think it was amplified noise and not a broadcast problem is that only part of the feed skipped. the announcer stays normal throughout.

Re: Colts Pumping Artificial Noise into The Dome
Is anyone in the NFL bringing this up as a real issue that will be investigated?
