how do you think child molesters should be punished?

Don't hear of too many wrongful convictions for this crime.

We are not talking accusations here - but convictions. Seems that these people often have photos or videos or other evidence that gives them away. It's not often the kids that name them - it is some other evidence or accusations by adults. Once they get named other victims come forward.

For cases where there's hard physical evidence or Dna involving a guy having sex with like a 5 year old, that should be death penalty. That person is too twisted to be allowed to exist.

But there's so many areas of grey in so many other cases that there has to be a two strikes and you're out criteria.

Of course it depends on the definition of child molester, (is the 18 year old who has sex with a 15 year old blah blah blah) but assuming the someone is going around raping kids, 6 year olds or whatever then yeah, life in prison without possibility of parole.

The judicial system in the case of child molesters is quite accurate from what I've seen. Most of these cases have some form of physical evidence like DNA, pictures/videos of the victim (sometimes including the accused), or pictures of other victims. You don't end up on trial for child molestation by "accident." It's not like you get home from work and find your neighbor's kid naked in your kitchen and the cops show up and go ZOMG YOU DID IT!!!

If he's completely innocent if that and every other crime, I would feel really bad and take whatever measures possible to ease the family's suffering.

If he has a prior criminal record I would probably point and laugh.

- The world would be better without criminals.
- Killing a criminal removes them from the world.

Solution - Kill all criminals.

I would prefer castration/death penalty, but these are highly unrealistic. I would much prefer much longer prison sentences. In a situation where an offender has two strikes, life sentence w/o chance of parole.

Yes, letting them rot in jail at the taxpayers' expense is far better and cheaper than grabbing a length of rope and finding a sturdy branch. What purpose do they serve anybody in jail? Kill them and be done with it.
