Default \"Low Brow\" Goodness Thread

Now, the first thing one notices when venturing into El D's GDF is the presence of so much... culture. Class. Some might even go so far as to call it snobbishness (snobbery? is either a real word?). I don't mind calling myself a snob in certain areas, such as movies. I like that I'm a movie snob. Maybe your 'cultured' self is a wine snob. We've all got a little bit of it in us.

But we also all have those somewhat embarrassing guilty pleasures that we love. The 'low-brow', if you will. This thread is dedicated to getting over the fact that you can be a food snob and still love easy mac or microwave pizzas. Perhaps you are a indie music lover in front of the forum, but secretly have avril lavinge all over your ipod. I know it's hard to 'come out of the closet', but i'll start.

My biggest thing is movies. I haven't watched as many as i want to, but i'm getting there quickly. It's a recent thing, but i made a list of something like 70 movies that are the all time greats or simply looked good, and i've already seen like 30 this year. I really enjoy everything about a good film, and i despise most 'blockbusters'. My biggest weakness is

I sincerely love this movie, and not in a 'so good it's bad' way. When i saw it, i thought it was in the top 3 i'd seen. It has a 20% score on rottentomatoes. It's been called every possible name relating to being trite, fake, poorly done, pseudo-intellectual, etc. I'm almost legitimately ashamed at how cool i thought this movie is, and truthfully still do. It's my low brow love.

How about you EDGDF? Where's your low brow dirty secret? This thread is to both be embarassed and celebrate this stuff at the same time.
