Gravel's website is down because too many people are trying to access it.

I'm sorry, you must be mistaken. I didn't see the debate, but I have been informed by Yahoo news and the Drudge Report that "Obama emerged as the clear victor."

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it has something to do with initial low capacity for his site and the fact that no one has ever heard of him or the state he came from for that matter.

[/ QUOTE ]
I was being a bit facetious -- I don't doubt that he made a great impression. Nevertheless, who do we expect the media to talk about but their pre-chosen presidential candidates?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sometimes I will reply to a post then late realize there was a sarcastic tone to it.

I am sure a ton of people went there as opposed to other people's sites because he was effing crazy.

Typical debate. Brian Williams asked several candidates how they would pay for their health care plans. Nobody actually answered the question asked. I would like the candidates to be interrupted and forced to answer the damn question.

[/ QUOTE ]

Edwards said he would be rolling back the Bush tax cuts.

[/ QUOTE ]

And that will increase revenue how?.....

Is the debate online anywhere?

[/ QUOTE ]

It's my understanding MSNBC plans to make it available on their website by Sunday.

Nevermind. Apparently MSNBC plans to rebroadcast the debate Sunday at noon on television.

Less tax cuts for the rich = more money for government

His idea is that with the money from increasing the taxes on the rich will be enough to pay for his health care plans.

I don't agree with him so please don't reply to me like I think this whole thing is a good idea.

Randomly pick anyone from the British House of Commons and they would destroy any American in any sort of regular debate format. These 'debates' are an embarassment.

[/ QUOTE ]
I thought the only politician more useless than the American Vice President was a British MP Backbencher.

Also, I'd prefer whoever sponsors the next debate to thin the field to maybe 5 candidates.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd like to see them do the next debate like American Idol. After each segment, two candidates are dismissed.

Obama completely flubbed the question on how would he respond to the terrorist question while Clinton nailed it. It dosent matter too much because it so early but Clinton looked very impressive and Obama did live up to expectations.

Edwards had a bad debate and looked like a lightweight like he did in the '04 VP debate.

I think the debates actually have a very marginal effect on the outcome of the primary process compared to the media soundbites of the debates or the one quote that gets played ad nauseum.
