lol I like psyduck who gives play from a freeroll as example of his degenerate tilting.

Yeah, I was laughing at that too. It's like going to GA and announcing to the room that you can identify with all of their troubles because you tilted off $4000 of charity chips during "Casino Night" at your office christmas party playing roulette even though you know it's negative EV and you should have been counting cards at the BJ table because the rules were really favorable.

As a better punishment, why not give up drinking when playing poker instead?

I might be a grumpy bastard but I don't see where the entertainment value in these games is. Surely idiot pushes/calls are goverened by the law of diminishing returns or is the 30th as fun as the first?

I agree, it's one of the reasons I've yet to play in any of them.

[/ QUOTE ]
Seems to me like one of the reasons TO play in them. I've always wished money would grow on trees...

You need to realize that there is no shame in not being rolled like some of these guys. There is no reason to play a game that you can't afford.

When I was at the STTF HUC, I could have easily killed my entire roll just by hanging with everyone at the strip clubs.
When Yugo asked me if I was going out for scrippaz I straight up told him that I couldn't afford it. He insisted that I come and bought me several dances.

There is no shame in living or playing withing you roll. Remember, the guys you see happily donking it up at these stakes didn't build their roll by playing way above their heads, you shouldn't either.

I also dropped a significant % of my BR at these games. Curtains set me straight, though
