A lot of the Gump hatred has to do with it winning the stacked '94 Oscars (Shawshank, Pulp Fiction).

Of all the films mentioned here, the only one that I havent' personally heard someone say they hate was BTTF part 1.

I saw this movie the first week it was out and walked out of the theater laughing at how terrible it was. I remember thinking it was the most cliche fake-clever movie I'd ever seen. Needless to say I was shocked when public sentiment differed.

Forrest Gump was a terrible guess.

I want to say I hate Shawshank just to keep it off the list because it's so overrated but in fact I found the movie to be slighlty above average for likability. Maybe that is the best guess. Surely some girls hate it though?

any movie that has any amount of violence or sex in it is disliked by some portion of the population. if I was going to guess at the "least disliked movie" I would say something like the lion king.
