those are both folding hands, regardless of position. Learn what a good omaha hand is. Championship Omaha is a v good book.

one time i folded 73o pf and it woulda ended up hitting quads and getting me a $9 pot. police had to shoot me full of 9 darts worth of rhino tranquelizer to keep me from jumping off a bridge

Because as far as AA hands go, it was a pretty weak one. No need to get too involved. With that hand, it's all about the flop.

(Although, as it turned out, it was more about the river...)

The only flop ur gonna like is one w/ an A or 2 diamonds in it. The other 85% of the time are you gonna check/fold the best hand?

Depends on the flop but, yes, mostly I'm dumping it if I don't hit a set or nut flush draw.

Not sure how AA23 is against two random hands over a huge sample of possible flops. But it's so easy for someone else to have two pair.
