c/r is interesting but too tricky for my taste without a better read. edit for eskimo: i agree that a river 3bet is rare, but can you really fold to it? can you really call it?

[/ QUOTE ]

you instacall it and accept that loss as a part of your c/r strategy.

kit is now my spiritual brother. We've been the aggressor this entire hand, so we're bet/calling this all damn day. We've got better than middle pair here and if villain has us beat, make a note and move on.

C/R is awful here as it just allows villain to check behind with Ahigh. C/C similar story. Bet it and forget it.

I only read like half the thread but it's between c/c to get bluffs from fds and value bets from mid PPs that think they're value betting against AK, or value bet to make him call with ahigh or a scared 9x. c/r is retarded against opponent as described, you are getting bet/called by a worse hand about never.

EDIT: Calling a river 3bet is so stupid I can't believe anyone on this forum would seriously suggest it. Can you give a single HH where you were bluff 3bet on the river? Do you seriously think anyone with half a brain would expect a hand worse than yours to be good here?

btw folding when your getting 11.5:1 and you arent able to put vil solidly on a single hand that beats you is pretty damn horrible imo

Serious question. I would be surprised if this happened even once every 10K hands.

EDIT: As far as hands that beat you, admittedly other than J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] it's pretty much 99 that played overly scared or an ill-advised slowplay. Still, if he doesn't have any of those things he probably misclicked.

not everyone thinks in terms of +ev.

11.5:1 makes this a non-issue

I'm done with this discussion until you stop dodging the question and aggressively not making sense.
