are raptor and jfish being srs? there aren't a lot of ways this hand could be played worse, but calling after the c/r would be one of them.

IDK, seems fairly obvious you have an 8 given how you played the hand. Given that he bet the turn which most people would check behind for pot control (unless he thought you sucked or something), makes it less likely he has some worse hand value betting.

I'd fold. Also dislike donking on flop without lots of history and lots of donking earlier in the match.

lol, I'm not saying it isn't a fold, I'm just saying its ridiculous that people are saying its a snap one. Its a timebank fold at best.

this is no way close to a snap fold, and i'd only fold this to very specific people with extensive history - with the flow of the match that you described I beat him into the pot

He has to be really bad or really good for this to be a call IMO. I mean, you're not full given the turn action, and he may know this, but most ppl still aren't going to turn top pair+ into a bluff, and he doesn't have air here often.

If he's bad just snap call and get shown a worse 8.

[/ QUOTE ]
Ya I agree with this. Also Kev 240 you are a bigger tourney donk than me.

snapfold so that you don't talk yourself into calling obv, and he will also think you were bluffing
Ok this is maybe not a snapfold, but I don't think its close either, I'm going to resubmit an opinion of 5-8 second ponder/fold.
