so by saying that you know people wont fold overpairs when you minraise, you are implying that you would never minraise with a drawing hand or a bluff because you would get called.

do you now understand what minraising means

Really player dependent..I just see some people think it means a monster every time..Ive done it pot dependent and player dependent. Ive used it to bluff, draw, semi-bluff..use real raise too....sometimes a cheap way to get info. esp. against players who think the min raise means the nuts. And you can do it cheaply too.
In this situation, unless the person has an overpair, when I call their pot size bet, their done. The board was j 7 x...what else could there be. So I thought the min- raise would entice an overpair to play back at me. Any other hand quits after the flop and I knew this.

OP, notice that it is only the people with small post counts that are criticizing your play. They hatin. It's an unremarkable hand (not BBV worthy), but your play is fine.
