Note that I threw up in my mouth while writing down Kent's name, but I think he is probably one of the best hitting second basemen of all-time. If he gets in at all, it will be after a couple of ballots.

That would be my third choice for him.

I think MLB should sell space on the hat, so that Maddux can be the HoFer sponsered by Pennzoil or Viagra or whatever. A better question is whether or not MLB should suspend the waiting period for Jeter and put him in now with a C on his cap (for Clutch, Captain, and Capitol One/Visa).

There are 15 2Bs in the Hall that have a lower OPS+ than Kent. And if they don't let Kent in right away, he will smite the baseball writers with his powerful mustache. I think he gets in.
