I've found that the type of music I'm listening to effects my tilt proneness immensely. It's pretty much impossible for me to tilt while I'm listening to good jazz or blues. If I go on a big downswing, I just interpret it as the man just trying to keep me down. Seriously, put on "kind of blue", and your tilt will decrease like you won't believe.

Gonna try this. I never listen too music while playing but I could imagine it would work

Kind of Blue = best Jazz album ever.

Not sure I should be listening to Slayer

Ive never had a tilt problem, but I'm certainly not immune to the pain of losing. I agree with mjkidd that music can be wonderful therapy. Whenever Im down around 50bbs I open up a youtube window and listen to perhaps the greatest song of all time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Guvo7gUdUnE

And then life is good again.

Jesus. That's the last thing you should be listing to. I really think this is more important than any of the excellent advice you give in these forums. Miles has lowered my blood pressure and turned my awful bad beats into "well, [censored]'s gonna get his eventually. Time for another bourbon."
