Magic was the only strat game I played, although I was really good at most card games (cribbage, sheepshead) that required some memerization of prior actions. I was only above-average at the card games that required total recall, like gin.

I've played a ton of strategy games and the ones that I like the best are:
MTG, chess, warcraft 3 TFT custom game DOTA, and the best strategy game of all time (except that it has "complete" information) Axis and Allies. Unfortunately, I no longer know anyone who ever plays it.

I spent a good year of my life during high school working on taking my ranking to astronomical heights. I'm interested to see if anyone else has ever heard of it.

LOLOLOL. folks know so little bout tiberian sun.
You have the Q button there as well. Extremely handy with dizzies and titties. Units DO return fire automatically. Select them and press g (guard mode). Dont be silly. Some one wanna play $25 tiberian sun game vs me? I'll beat the crap out of you, so you better save ur money and FOLD. LOL. I rule.

AOE:TC ~2200-2300 RMer, played in lots of tournies, including both of the big Legion ones. Made a little dough off the 2nd one, I played for StorM.
I played lots of MTG tournies a few years ago as well, always loved that game. The local MTG Guild near me re-located, and I had no where to play :-( I did very well with an Enchantress deck soon after they brought them back in 7th Ed. Has anyone played AoE:3? AoM sucked, I didn't like the gameplay at all, I wonder if AoE:3 will be as competitive as the series had been in the past.

I used to play WC II like a madman. I HATED how everyone acted like they were sophomores in highschool (because they WERE sophomores in highschool), but loved the game. I was pretty damn good. Booted it up the other day for kicks with a new name since I forgot my old one, and kept getting booted for being a newb. Surprisingly, you can still find games on there....
