I think that is really bad. Maybe it is better than folding, but it is quite possible that pushing will knock out the button's 99, and leave your AK able to win unimproved against the short stack's AQ.

This comes up pretty frequently in SNGs. The call is very frequently a decent hand, and rarely a monster. That would not be the case if I were on the button, but if you have to bet whether an unknown player is being tricky or dumb, bet on dumb. <font color="white">Yes, the payoff isn't even. Bet on dumb anyway.</font>

Its not a bad move at all, I just think its innapropriate at this level to make a squeeze play with suited connectors. Too many people call and end up taking away your odds.
