I don't think he'd call with just an overpair for 8K or whatever.

Or at the very least he expected you to fold KK/AA to a c/r?

I like 7000-9000 you have the best chance of him calling if your bet is below the pot here and it could look like your saving your self that 7k behind if he reraises. If he reraises call.
