[ QUOTE ] that snapcall was sweet [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] i know that this was a huge pot and all, but the fact that they ran it 3 times really takes away from the 'omg' factor of a $750k pot [/ QUOTE ] The important point I took away from it is Luckbox > God [/ QUOTE ] huh? pa played horrible. [/ QUOTE ] how so? [/ QUOTE ] he was lost on the flop call. judging by his action thus far in the show that was just a lost "im in w/ a donk" call. hes not going to go hero on the turn and hes not going to stack jamie if jamie makes just one pair. he got the greatest situation on earth and he didnt have odds to draw at that specific situation. [/ QUOTE ] Considering Gold reraised preflop, there's a very real chance that he has KK, QQ, or TT. Playing a gutshot against a big hand is a standard play in deepstack NLHE. |

[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Here come the Gold haters! I was rooting for a paired 3rd board just to maximize the sickness. [/ QUOTE ] How can anyone hate Gold? He's really really good at poker, he is honest, sincere and doesnt angle shoot or whine at all. [/ QUOTE ] Nice try Jamie, you suck. |

Re: High Stakes Poker thread (11/12 - 500k Buyin - Part 2 Spoilers aho
PA didn't have odds to draw to 2 kings, but he also had to think that an Ace could have won it for him, given Gold's talking. And Gold is a station, so he'd have paid him off at least a bit on that, even if he wouldn't stack him.
