[ QUOTE ]
i call for sure if he s on atc which he seems to be.
has anyone run those kind of simulations of bubble play if anyone plays according to icm? i would be very interested in the results.

I've never come across any software that could do it, or a calculation that has used that approach - it's just the only way I can see to get an accurate EV estimate.

Wish I was better at programming - that'd be some fun software to use, and it could be a really useful addition to ICM in these sorts of hands.

I think it's pretty apparent it's a clear call with this hand or better but it goes way down hill with any worse of a hand.

The thing is that this has been determined to by a call by many players.
However a REC (Ranged Equity Calculation) says it is a fold.
Is there any extra information anyone could suggest that would make the calculations even slightly more accurate?

I've really enjoyed this discussion and I am near convinced that it may be +EV in the long run to call here and then improve our chances to WIN...here is an article i found dealing with this same situation http://www.sitandgoplanet.com/STTArticle...0the%20Box.html

Can we agree that it is an easy fold if we deem the opposition to be weaker than us?

I feel it to be of importance in order to make the decision to call.

I personally believe that if we do not think the rest of the players will play "perfect" bubble play, i.e. not widing call ranges of the shoves we would make as the big stack we can call and hope to dominate the bubble as stated above. Still I think in the moment I woudl stick with my original post and fold here believing I can get some shoves in UTG.

Obviously not a standard call, but given the table dynamics I like it.
