You guys seriously only play 15k hands a month? I thought I didn't play enough... How do you handle the variance? What if you're losing or breaking even for over 2-3 months? (let me guess: never happened... sigh, some of you have such an easy time)

Sweet... sounds like good advice. Thats two people who told me about this in the past week..

After losing 6 days in a row, and dropping another 2k$ @ 30/60 I was pretty tilted/depressed, so I went to drink my sorrows away at the bar in bally's.

I ended up striking up a conversation with a mexican guy who was there for the "magic" show (fashion event). He was acting as a liason for a huge fabric company.

Anyway, he was bitching to me how expensive american hookers are. "300$ a night! OUTRAGEOUS"

Me "How much are they in mexico"
Him "Free man, the girls f*ck any tourists"
Me "O rly?"
Him "yeah man, they're all horny and broke"

So im obviously now curious, How far of a drive is it to tijuana from LA?

I've never logged 15k hands in a month, but this time it may happen, so let's set that goal.

Teh Pokerz:

-15k hands: 10k 3/6, 5k 2/4
-Play some 5/10 if the games look good
-Log longer sessions
-Utilize PAHud a lot better
-28/20 up from 25/17

Teh life:
-Start new job! 9/17, I'm a Dept of Defense researcher (read: gg browsing 2p2 at work. f websense)
-Work 40 hour weeks instead of 55
-More relax time

Hehe ok, I usually aim at 50k hands. One time I put in almost 100k hands a month.

I play 8k max. Yes, slow patches last a long time. You get used to it. See my post above for absolute proof that it doesn't bother me in the least.

I have a full time job, a girlfriend and other stuff to attend to + I'm lazy.

I had a 500+ downswing this spring, made me want to kill myself but not needing the money helps tremendously.
