I actually think both are alright but I like Hoss' bet a lot more than Schneids' call.
I haven't played much with Hoss at all but I think using reasonable assumptions (which might be wrong), it's very possible we are ahead 0% of the time on river. I think Hoss' bet is fine and actually I probably make it myself. There is a principle related to value betting in LHE that works extremely well in my experience. The principle is this: If it really seems like you are ahead, just bet. Don't worry about what hands can call you. It may sound stupid but seriously, analysis often leads to excess passivity. |
