Hey man - I have cingular phone that supports mp3 ringtones. I made a ringtone I would like to use on my computer, but I am not interested in purchasing the cable to connect to my computer. I *think* there is a way to email it to my phone for relatively cheap? I do not have the email plan and dont want it though. Help me out

Why does Cingular have such [censored] coverage everywhere but huge cities?

Is it a Motorola phone? There is a program you can "acquire" called Motorola Phone Tools. If your phone supports a mini usb cable, much like the ones used for digital cameras, you can use that.

I have custom ringtones and have never had to pay for a ringtone, I use a Motorola Razr

If you live in a valley/mountain area coverage can be spotty. I can check on your ZIP code if you like. We are integrating former at&t wireless cell towers with cingular cell towers, i think that is causing some issues on the network

Cro,

Uh, that was on the "Text Messaging Pricing" section. Hopefully you're not correct about being one of the most knowledgeable CS reps around at Cingular!

The section is wrong. I just called Cingular, so maybe you should apologize to Cro.

I have a black RAZR, I have the USB cord for it (bought it from a Cingular store) I have Motorola Phone Tools, however I can't find the right driver that the computer needs to recognize the RAZR. I found one that will let it charge only when connected to the computer, but phone tools still won't recognize it. Do you know where I can get the right driver for Moto Phone Tools to be able to work with the RAZR?

Thanks in advance

Cro,

If the Cingular website is incorrect as the above poster said, my apologies for doubting your answer.

Another question. Why are you a CS rep?
