I'd seen Celebrity Poker Showdown a couple times and, while the show sucked, Gordon was an okay enough announcer. Sure he's a tool but was at least servicable for the job.

When Hellmuth took over, I watch his first episode, and it was AWFUL. He was just so awkward it was painful, and I do think this contributed to the downfall.

Mostly b/c peopla get bored of it. When the show 1st start people like to watch b/c it's new and they like to see cele... then bravo re-run the show everyday get people bore quick. PH just get into the show @ the wrong time IMO.
