Why does everyone give Season 3 so much love? I thought Season 2 was by far the best, which culminated with an awesome sword fight scene between Angel and Buffy.

wtf are you people smoking? season 2 and 3 are very good, but they pale in comparison to the later seasons

Yeah I pretty much love any season 2 through 6. Seven and one are slightly weaker but they are certainly still good.

The story telling in terms of the overall seasonal plot/theme got better in later seasons--much like Angel.

but the first season should be watched because it is such a serialzed show.

If you like Firefly
you should watch all the Buffy seasons then go over and watch all of the Angel seasons.

Season 1 is a bit slow but you still needs to watch it.
Also Jin from LOST is on Angel.

I liked Buffy long before I ever watched Firefly, but I've never sat down and watched all the episodes. I'll probably do that now.

A friend just burned me a DVD and I watched a 2hr long "episode" that was numbered as 01_Serenity. Took me a while but by the end of it I think I started to dig it a little bit (I have to admit I thought it sucked a bit at the beginning). Was this the pilot or the movie, or what?

Ok just watched The Train Job and it was much better than the pilot. Starting to understand why everyone is so into it.

Ya too bad it got axed so early, another fantastic show not even given a proper chance or publicity.

I've heard this, but I don't get the idea of starting something and getting into it only knowing it's gonna be pulled from under your nose with no resolution at all.

Basically, why would I want to watch half a season of even a great show if it's only HALF a season?
