If you are worried about it you should have asked her what the deal was when she told you, who's party was it, who's gonna be there, get a feel for whether or not it would have been appropriate for her to invite you (and if so why she might not have done so). I hate parties and thus don't mind if a gf goes out without me but if she didn't even offer or let me know whos party it was etc then I would be worried and in a 'close and committed relationship' you would think she would be open enough to explain where she was going and why she felt like going alone.

Either you trust her (which means you don't care what she does in the first place) or you don't trust her. If you don't trust her just break up with her already.
