I am really shocked by the replies to this. This is not a problem at all. [/ QUOTE ] It's completely subjective. |

Re: Girlfriends going to parties without you - advice?
If you are worried about it you should have asked her what the deal was when she told you, who's party was it, who's gonna be there, get a feel for whether or not it would have been appropriate for her to invite you (and if so why she might not have done so). I hate parties and thus don't mind if a gf goes out without me but if she didn't even offer or let me know whos party it was etc then I would be worried and in a 'close and committed relationship' you would think she would be open enough to explain where she was going and why she felt like going alone.

close and committed relationship [/ QUOTE ] I do not think this means what you think it means. Just be a grownup and ask her why she wanted to go without you. Games suck. |

Either you trust her (which means you don't care what she does in the first place) or you don't trust her. If you don't trust her just break up with her already. I can't picture a scenario where you just "work this out". |

The issue is not that she went to a party without him, it's that she did not invite him or explain why she wanted to go alone. It's pretty rational to view this as an issue. |
