But do you think BB shoves a FD + SD on the flop after he sees my ultra strong line which probably means set or Axs w/ FD + SD? There's all this side pot crap so I don't know how that would factor into his thinking there.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sure, why not? Some FE apparently from everyone ready to fold a set, he gets to see two cards, lots o money in the middle. What else can he do there with a strong draw?

What is your image? What do you think he thinks of you? You could conceivably isolate raise with a wider range than just sets if the button is a donk. I would not fold here.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wouldn't expect you to.

I loled

Theoretically this is a very very easy call because:

1) Button has hands like JJ+ in his range.
2) BB doesn't have 55/TT

It don't matter

If he has a combo draw we need to snapcall
The only time we should ever fold is if its exceedingly likely that one of them has 55/TT

i don't think button is raising his draws here. It just doesn't make any sense to. he has TT+/55 imo and BTN should be folding JJ+ to this action so I really think button has 55/TT not BB. BB looks like a strong draw that said f it there's a ton in there I'm going all the way. this is super gross but I think just this once I might fold my set. my range for BTN would be TT/55/AA and for BB draw/55 he's squeezing TT here right?. also fold/3bet pre unless ur planning to out play him a lot.

edit: i just re-read my argument and I think its telling me to call. not really sure since i don't feel like stoving those ranges but the fact that I'm putting BB on draws more than 55 and we will have a side pot vs. him makes calling more appealing. still dunno which is best but thats cuz i'm just lazy.

BB should never have 55 or TT

discuss

[/ QUOTE ]

ive never seen this action from a std straightforward player (maybe a bad assumption) and not been show 55/TT (especially w/ these stacks).

discuss

[/ QUOTE ]

What I'm saying is:

If BB has 55 or TT, he has played them poorly
Since I assume he doesn't play poorly, I think he doesn't have 55/TT

[/ QUOTE ]

i cant believe people are still calling this. pdoran has to have a set. ok so 55/TT arent played great but anything else is just horrific. unless he is on monkey tilt this is a fold.

I think this is a fold.

One of those cases where you think he can't have 55,TT because of a 14 dollar call, yet the more relevant information is the 400 dollar bet.

And I think flat-calling 55,TT is fine for BB. I would do it sometimes. Maybe even often.

This seems like an easy fold because you are 80% of the time drawing to 1 out and 20% you are 60/40.

I woke up last night with this thought in my head. pdoran basically calls off 150bbs after my 3bet. There's no way he'd ever do that w/ any draw, even 64s because he has to put me on a set or maybe A2 or A4 of hearts.

You woke up in the middle of the night thinking about this?
