Re: What are the odds there was no cheating going on here?

Haha, OP is a total fish apearently. [/ QUOTE ] B.1) A douche who sucks at poker... To OP, based on just these three hands, no it's not cheating - first hand is standard. Second hand, she made a reasonable move in a bad spot and got lucky. Happens (see Moneymaker vs. Deeb in 2003 WSOP, e.g.) 3rd hand is just unlucky. I tend to agree with those whose said that playing as short stacked as you were, a push is better than a min-raise there, but whatever, these are things you'll learn. More unlucky than anything else. These things happen all the time - it's called variance, and in the end it's why some people are able to make money at this game - the bad players sometimes win, so they keep coming back. (Note that presently, you might be that bad player, but at least you know it and are trying to improve.) Best of luck. |

Hey Sethy,
B.1) A douche who sucks at poker... I loved the way you did this in outline format. Still laughing as I type this. This is actually turning out to be a pretty fun thread. |
