I really wouldn't do this if you live in the US.

For those that don't keep the majority of your br on site, where do you keep it so that it is easily accessible if needed? Do you just put most of it in your bank accounts or do you keep it on-line at someplace like e-passporte?

[/ QUOTE ]

Keep 50 buyins online and the rest in my ING Direct account earning 5%

edit: I think it's fine to not have it all easily accessible. If I somehow burn through everything I have online, I probably need a long break from poker anyway.

I always keep a minimum of 35 buy ins... usually on a really bad day I am capable of losing 6-7 buy ins... I play 100NL right now and plan on moving to 200NL at 7k and probably stay there for awhile.

I think past 200NL you need to keep atleast 35+ buy ins because you will h ave larger swings

I'm a reformed bankroll maniac. In a few months of living dangerously I built up the following check list:

[X] had multiple 1000% upswings in bankroll
[X] had whole roll on a table
[X] played through a 75% drop in roll with out moving down
[X] robusto'd
[X] rostucko'd
[X] learned my lesson and now only take shots with 25 buyins
